Tissera, Inc. Comments on Dr. Hammerman's Patent Application

TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 2004--Tissera, Inc. (OTCBB:TSSR - News), has recently become aware that a patent application has been filed by Dr. Marc Hammerman at the Washington University in St. Louis in connection with the development of diabetes mellitus therapy based on transplanted embryonic pancreatic-precursor cells. We have conducted an analysis of Dr. Hammerman's patent and we have determined that Dr. Hammerman's patent may restrict our freedom to implement our pancreatic application. We do not believe Dr. Hammerman's patent will impact our liver, spleen and other organ applications.
